Synopsis

"Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!" cries Julius Caesar in one of the best outings in the classic British film comedy series. It was released just after the massive budget Hollywood epic Cleopatra, and cheekily showed how the same story (sort of) could be told for a fraction of the cost and with better jokes. They even get in a British angle, in the shape of two slaves who manage to cause a lot of trouble for the most powerful people in the world.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
