Mad Love is a collection of three silent films by Yevgeni Bauer, who has been described as the most important Russian film director before the 1917 Revolution. The first, The Dying Swan, is about Gizella, a mute ballet dancer who obsesses a young painter, Twilight of a Woman's Soul tells the story of rich but bored Vera who decides to take part in charity work with her mother, which leads to murder, and the third, After Death, is about Andrei, a reclusive man who becomes the object of a suicidal actress's affections.
Epic love story set in Russia during the early part of the 20th century.
