Synopsis

Twilight star Robert Pattinson swaps his vampire fangs for an unusual moustache in this passionate biopic of surrealist painter Salvador Dalí. The year is 1922 and an 18-year-old Dalí arrives at university in Madrid determined to be the greatest artist of the 20th century. When he falls in with fellow student visionaries Federico García Lorca and Luis Buñuel it seems his greatness is assured. But as their notoriety grows the three young men find themselves slipping into a world of decadence and self-destruction.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
