Synopsis

This raucously funny, irreverent film challenges the notion that all chick flicks overdose on sentimental romance. It centres on luckless-in-love and penniless baker Annie, who’s taken aback by her best friend Lillian's news she’s getting married. Asked to be maid of honour, Annie determines to bluff her way through the called-for rituals with a show of enthusiasm and the help of an oddball group of bridesmaids. This becomes tougher when Lillian's wealthy new pal Helen starts muscling in on the maid-of-honour duties - causing a hilarious, disastrous descent into chaos as they all head to Las Vegas for the hen party.
