Synopsis

With his son Max preparing to leave home for college, Goofy takes the reluctant teenager on a fishing road trip to strengthen their father-son relationship. A romance for Max rests on him secretly diverting the cross-country trek to a rock concert and a meeting with Bigfoot and a visit to a possum-themed rollercoaster park also make for entertaining stop-offs along the way. In Goofy's movie debut, quick-fire jokes and comic calamities allow the loveable hound to shine.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
