The Man From Nowhere (1976, 59 mins) sees a young girl moves to her rich uncle’s country house, but a stranger warns her of grave dangers if she stays, in this Victorian gothic horror. In Haunters of the Deep (1984, 61 mins), an American businessman arrives in Cornwall to re-open a disused mine, ignoring warnings from the past that could prove to be a fatal mistake. And in Out of the Darkness (1985, 68 mins), three youths in Derbyshire begin to see visions of a child who died in The Great Plague and attempt to uncover the mystery of his appearance.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
