Dina is a young girl who has inherited her mother's supernatural abilities, the gift of looking into people's souls and make them feel ashamed of themselves for any wrongs they have committed. When Nico, the heir to the throne of Dunark is wrongly accused of murdering his family, Dina's mother is lured to the kingdom on the false pretense of drawing Nico into a confession. Imprisoned after refusing to do so, it is up to Dina to uncover the truth, setting her off on a perilous adventure involving dragons and witchcraft. The first in an intended trilogy, this Tolkein-esque medieval fantasy is packed with intriguing ideas and strong characterisation amidst its epic backdrop, whilst also introducing an element of realism into its depictions of the fantastic.
Fantastical, action-packed motion-capture epic, based on the oldest surviving poem written in English.
