Synopsis

In a world where people collect, train, befriend and battle creatures known as Pokémon, a young man named Tim is searching for his father, an ace detective who went missing years earlier. One night he makes an unbelievable discovery, stumbling across a Pokémon of the Pikachu variety and finding out they have the unique ability to communicate with one another. Tim soon joins forces with this wise-cracking creature on a thrilling adventure through the neon-lit streets of Ryme City, hunting down the clues that may lead him to his father whilst potentially unravelling an even larger conspiracy. This first live-action adventure into one of the world’s most popular video game series is a story of familial bonds, loyalty and friendship that contains a diverse cast of colourful and thrilling Pokémon characters.
