Based on the recent true story of a group of women, working at conservative network Fox News, joining forces to expose sexual harassment and a toxic work culture led by former head Roger Ailes, this drama explores the insidious nature of politics and the media in America. The stories of three women at the network are told – new hire Kayla Pospisil and popular commentators Megyn Kelly and Gretchen Carlson. The film explores the sheer sexism in a workforce ruled by powerful men with vicious motives. The film centres its victims and the damage this has on their personal lives, while also closely looking at the wider political climate, featuring similar scandals that involved President Donald Trump.
