Synopsis

When a boy falls into a fantastical island landscape, he soon finds himself being pursued by a dark spirit. No matter where he goes on his motorcycle, the monster relentlessly follows. As he seeks to find his way home, the boy must also rid himself of his hunter, and encounters a number of friendly animals on the way. Split into four distinct visual chapters and encompassing a video game aesthetic, this dialogue-free minimalist animation is an astonishing one-man production from its director, who did everything from the animation to the score, and contains themes around mindfulness and mental health.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
