Synopsis

This origin story of Father Christmas introduces us to Nikolas, an ordinary boy who decides he must venture out to the icy north to find his father, who has gone missing during a quest for the mythical land of Elfhelm. Accompanied by his faithful but unruly reindeer Blitzen and an adorable pet mouse, Nikolas finds himself caught up in a magical adventure that will eventually see him realise his destiny. The spirit and wonder of Christmas are captured in this family-friendly film perfect for the festive season.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
