Synopsis

This highly anticipated expansion of the Toy Story universe is an origin story for the fictional astronaut that inspired Buzz Lightyear. The young space ranger and his team have been marooned on an inhospitable planet 4.2 million light years from earth. After being trapped for years it is now up to Buzz, accompanied by a group of skilled recruits and his robot cat Sox, to venture into infinity and beyond and find a way back home. The mission is put under strain, however, when the ominous presence of Emperor Zurg and his army of robots threaten to prevent Buzz and his friends from making it back to Earth. With spectacular animation and one of Pixar’s most-loved characters taking centre stage, this intergalactic adventure will delight young audiences across the board.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
