Synopsis

When the Primm family moves to New York City, their young son Josh struggles to adapt to his new school and new friends. Everything changes when he discovers a large crocodile named Lyle living in his attic who loves, amongst other things, to sing and take baths! They quickly become close friends and so when Lyle’s residence is threatened by their horrible neighbour Mr. Grumps, the Primms must team up with the crocodile’s eccentric owner, Hector P. Valenti, to show the world that Lyle is very much a part of their family. Based on the best-selling book series, ‘Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile’ is a heartwarming story about family, friendship, and community featuring original songs.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
