Mimmi and Rönkkö are high-school best friends who work at a smoothie stall, passing time by joking around and discussing love and attraction. Their friendship becomes strained when Mimmi starts a relationship with Emma, a talented ice skater whose grueling training schedule gets in the way of everyday life. Rönkkö, on the other hand, tries to date for the first time but is frustrated by the awkward and unfulfilling sexual experiences she encounters. Over the course of three consecutive Fridays, the film follows their intertwining lives and developing romances, as they explore aspects of young adulthood, rebellion, first love and friendship.
