Synopsis

With many breeds and countless variations, canines are one of the most diverse species on Earth and were the first to be domesticated. From ears to tails, coats to paws, every part of their bodies has been structured and adapted to serve a particular purpose. This light but informative documentary examines some of the world’s most popular breeds – including Great Danes, chihuahuas, labradors, beagles, huskies, and more – to explain how each aspect plays a pivotal role in their past and present way of living.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
