After standing up to a destructive evil and saving the world from paranormal devastation a few years previously, the Spenglers and their new father-figure, Gary Grooberson, settle down in a New York City firehouse, home of the original Ghostbusters. Soon, however, they are thrust back into action after an accident with an ancient, evil artefact unleashes a terrible, and ice-cold, force into the world. With the Ghost King out for revenge and relationships becoming strained, the family know where they must turn, leading to multiple generations of Ghostbusters coming together with the goal of preventing the entire world from entering a second ice age. Action-packed, spooky adventures abound in this sequel with a great heart and an added focus on how to deal with loneliness and division within the family unit.
