This anthology of Spanish-language films, taking place largely in Argentina, whisks us away on a chaotic journey through a world fraught with violence and a thirst for revenge. Featuring everyday men and women who are pushed to their limits, each story is a darkly funny and shocking examination of human nature. A road rage incident that quickly spins out of control, a parking ticket which snowballs into an uncontrollable need for retaliation and a bride who discovers evidence of infidelity in the middle of her wedding party are just three of the tales in this unpredictable and unique film. An excellent example of contemporary, foreign-language, crowd-pleasing cinema.
