With the planet on the brink of World War III, cybersecurity specialist Dr. Daniel Kellner has broken ranks and stolen highly sensitive material from his employer, a secretive US government contractor. The documents include an artifact of extraterrestrial technology and videos which appear to prove the existence of alien contact related to the Roswell incident back in 1947. Meanwhile, in Kansas City, television meteorologist Margaret Fairchild is preparing for work when a cardinal flies into her home, triggering a psychic ability within her to intuit people’s thoughts and speak other languages, all without realising that she is doing so. When footage of her strange behaviour on a live broadcast goes viral, she quickly comes to the attention of both the authorities and the rebels, including Daniel. As both Daniel and Margaret go on the run from their pursuers, a mysterious third party contacts each of them to guide them on their journey. ‘Disclosure Day’ is a sci-fi which explores the ethics and citizens’ rights around extraterrestrial contact.
Classification moderate threat, violence, injury detail, infrequent strong language
