Synopsis
Inspired by the real-life feline resident of London’s Tate Modern art gallery, the story follows Mildred, a quiet cat who spends her days exploring the vibrant halls of an art gallery. While gallery visitors admire the famous paintings on the walls, Mildred experiences the museum in her own unique way, mainly by napping beside sculptures. But as night falls and the museum empties, Mildred’s imagination comes alive. The artwork around her seems to spark to life, turning the quiet gallery into a playful, magical playground and transforming it for visitors the next morning. This lively animation, made by the Tate Modern, is a great way of teaching young children about the power and creativity of modern art.
