Synopsis
Billie is an impulsive, unconventional teenager who feels like an outsider in her normal suburban life. Plagued by odd phenomena and traits she cannot explain, Billie lives with her protective, ambitious mother who tries to keep Billie grounded and hand-waves away all of her strangeness as mere coincidence. However, when a series of undeniable magical manifestations forces Billie to realize that what makes her different isn't a defect but actual magical powers, she and her mother are whisked away to a realm called Hexe, where witches and wild, unhinged magic thrive. This Disney animation is a colourful journey through an exciting magical world whilst also acting as a delightful portrait of a mother and daughter learning to understand each other.
