Synopsis
After a whirlwind Monte Carlo romance, a naive young woman enters into marriage with a mysterious wealthy widower Maxim de Winter and moves to his grand estate, Manderley. Soon after, she is afflicted by the lingering presence of Maxim's late wife, Rebecca, and the psychological torment of the hostile housekeeper, Mrs. Danvers. As the mystery of what happened to Rebecca begins to unfold, the freshly married newcomer must navigate Manderley and search through her own heart to preserve her marriage and possibly her life. This remake of the Alfred Hitchcock classic maintains the period setting but refreshes the thrilling story with a keen, contemporary vision.
