Synopsis
Through training from a young age alongside his caterpillar friend, Superworm becomes strong, agile, and adaptable to any situation. After his friend emerges from her cocoon as a butterfly, she helps him to become popular with the other insects as he performs a series of good deeds. Butterfly starts to feel a little jealous that her friend is the only one being applauded but must display her own courage and skill after Superworm is seized by a crow, who serves Wizard Lizard. Butterfly discovers her friend’s whereabouts and gathers up the other creatures to come together and free Superworm from his captors. Adapted from the Julia Donaldson children’s book, this is an accessible story about friendship and community suitable for the youngest learners.
