Synopsis

Being offered the chance to inherit $300 million sounds like a dream come true. But for baseball player Monty Brewster, it's not quite that simple - because, when a rich uncle passes away and leaves him exactly that sum, there is a strange condition attached. In order to claim the rest of the money, Monty must first spend $30 million in 30 days - but without ending up with anything to show for it. This hilarious movie gives a showcase to one of the greatest comics of all time - the brilliant Richard Pryor.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
