Although it's set on an ice floe, there's nothing chilly about this cheerful animated comedy. Three unlikely companions - a woolly mammoth, a sabre-tooth tiger and a young sloth - team up for the great migration southwards. Along the way they pick up a human baby, and decide to return it to its parents - despite the humans' unappealing habit of hunting them. Ice Age is a very likeable movie that will have audiences of all ages smiling.
