Synopsis

The third instalment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise sees our hero Captain Jack Sparrow up to his usual tricks, teaming up with Captain Barbossa as they face their arch enemies, Davy Jones and Lord Cutler Beckett. A goddess needs to be rescued and our heroes must unite the Pirate Lords from the four corners of the Earth in order to set her free, while the developing romance between Elizabeth and Will threatens to disrupt the mayhem. This Pirates... movie is filled with comedy and edge-of-your-seat action, Johnny Depp fully inhabiting a role that has come to define large parts of his career.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
