Erin Brockovich is a sassy single mother desperately looking for work. She eventually lands a job as a legal assistant at a law firm - but soon finds that none of her new colleagues take her seriously. But when Erin begins working on a case involving a shady land deal carried out by a utilities company, she uncovers the fact that the company's pollution is leaving residents desperately ill.
