Synopsis

Classic comedy duo Laurel and Hardy don't usually need any assistance in getting themselves into trouble - but Stan and Olly get all the help they could want when their long-lost twin brothers, sailors Alfie and Bert, arrive on shore leave! The brothers (also played by Laurel and Hardy) are looking after a valuable ring for the ship's captain - and that leads to all four attracting the attention of a gang of crooks. Hilarious capers are just around the corner!

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
