Synopsis

Director Brian De Palma's impressive makeover of the much-loved TV series features Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, leader of an elite team of intelligence operatives. However, when a mission goes inexplicably wrong, Hunt finds under suspicion as a spy in his own camp. His only chance is to find out who the real infiltrator is and turn the tables. Featuring an impressive supporting cast, some of the action sequences - including a tunnel pursuit involving a helicopter - are breathtaking.
