Synopsis

Retro chic oozes from this sophisticated, romantic crime caper. It's the tale of bored young millionaire Thomas Crown, a playboy so desperate for kicks that he pulls off what he thinks is the perfect crime by hiring a gang to rob a bank for him. But he hadn't reckoned on the intuition of beautiful insurance investigator Vicki Anderson - who quickly suspects his involvement in the heist. To prove her theory, she starts hanging out with Crown, openly telling him what she's up to in the hope that he'll crack. But which one of these two sharp-witted and glamorous customers will come out on top?

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
