The second is the option chosen by Baron Munchausen, who claimed to have been up to the moon, into the belly of a sea monster, and travelled the world with companions including the world's fastest runner. The film used then-groundbreaking special effects, but the reason they work is because the director has an imagination every bit as wonderful as his hero.
