Synopsis

Lightning McQueen is a super fast car with an inflated opinion of himself, but has just had a disappointing result in an important race. He accidentally ends up stranded in the small town of Radiator Springs, where things move very slowly indeed. Can the wise old timers who live there teach the young and foolish Lightning a thing or two? Packed with fun action sequences and colourful, memorable characters, Cars is a charming, nostalgic love letter to the automobile and the American landscape. Gently celebrating the importance of friends and family, it is also only the second Pixar film to feature an entirely non-human cast of characters.
