Synopsis

Two bored and cynical French aristocrats in the late 18th century kill time by manipulating the lives of their friends and rivals. This time, though, real human emotions - oh, the horror of it! - get in the way of their vicious games. Dangerous Liaisons is a stylish, brilliantly acted and witty (English language) story of a way of life that would be swept away by the French Revolution just a few years later.
