Synopsis

Explorers is an inventive, sophisticated fantasy adventure in which two kids build their own space craft in a suburban garage and encounter aliens who are able to communicate because they've absorbed earthling culture through 60s TV. Riotously good fun as it makes use of a whole host of inventive special effects, the film also boasts eye-catching early performances from stars Ethan Hawke and River Phoenix.
