Synopsis

It often takes very little for seemingly sensible people to become ridiculously competitive, and that's exactly what happens in this sweet and funny British comedy. Two couples race their vintage cars back from Brighton to London. One of the pairs is a car-obsessed husband accompanied by his unimpressed wife; the other a serial womaniser and his latest girlfriend. Their rivalry starts off as easy-going, but as the race grows more serious it turns into some seriously fierce scheming.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
