Want to know exactly how surprising and exciting pop music seemed to its fans in its early days? It's all captured in The Beatles' rollercoaster of a first film. It's a fake documentary, with the band being chased by huge mobs of screaming girls, getting into trouble and always finding time for a spot of madcap hilarity. A Hard Day's Night looks like it was all made up on the spot - in fact, it was all carefully scripted, but the film is still filled with pure breathless energy and pop thrills. PLEASE BE AWARE: After ordering A Hard Day's Night, the disc you will receive may be marked as being a 12 certificate - however, this relates to the extra features on the DVD and not the film itself, which is certified with the BBFC as a U. Into Film has consulted the BBFC, and their guidance is that as long as a club leader screens only the film (and not additional features or audio commentaries etc), A Hard Day's Night can be treated as a U certificate in a school setting.
Contains mild sex references, very mild bad language
