Goofy comedy starring clown prince Jerry Lewis as Julius Kelp, an oddball science teacher who doesn't have much of a love life - or indeed, any kind of life. To remedy his own geekiness, Kelp invents a special potion that transforms him into the handsome and charismatic Buddy Love - and before long the ladies are queuing up for a date. There's just one tiny problem - the effect of the potion doesn't last for very long.
