Synopsis

The second of the Jack Sparrow swashbucklers, the film finds the loveably rogue-ish pirate caught up in another tangled web of ghostly intrigue when it turns out that he owes a 'blood debt' to Davey Jones - ruler of the ocean depths and captain of the phantom ship the Flying Dutchman. If Jack can't figure a crafty way out of this one, he'll be cursed to an after-life of eternal damnation. Full of joyful energy, the film features the series' now trademark fantastic visual effects and a typically brilliant performance from star Johnny Depp as Captain Jack.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
