Synopsis

This spirited animated adventure sees two rascally but lovable con men, Tulio and Miguel, stowing away on a ship captained by legendary Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortez, on his way to Central America in search of the legendary city of gold, El Dorado. Once there, the bickering pair are pleasantly surprised to find themselves treated like gods by the local inhabitants, but are less than pleased to find out about their hosts' predilection for human sacrifice... There's plenty of slapstick and action here to enthrall younger children.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
