Synopsis

As the first feature produced after the death of Walt Disney himself, Robin Hood was a make-or-break animation for Disney where they had to prove they could succeed without their founder - and they did. This retelling of the legend of Sherwood Forest, with its cast of animated animals, gets by on its non-stop action, memorable songs and, most importantly the strength of its characters.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
