Synopsis

Back in the 1930s, movie audiences thrilled to the adventures of Zorro - a noble hero whose skill with a sword was the undoing of many a villain, but whose identity remained forever secret behind a black mask. This action-packed movie is a modern take on the story, which loses none of the original's sense of fun but increases the pace, amps up the wisecracks, and gives star Antonio Banderas a chance to show off his prowess as the legendary swordsman who signs his handiwork with a trademark "Z".

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
