Synopsis

This animated comedy sequel begins where the original Madagascar left off. Zoo escapees Alex the lion, Gloria the hippo, Melman the giraffe, Marty the zebra and their pals are still stuck on the island - however, the ingenious penguins construct a plane and they manage to fly off, only to crash land in Africa. More culture-clash comedy ensues as the pampered animals come to term with their wild surroundings, and there's plenty of slapstick and inspired silliness, all delivered by the stellar, spot-on voice cast.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
