Synopsis

If you love animals, you'll be enchanted by this horse's eye view of the world, as Black Beauty recounts his fateful life story from birth onwards. After idyllic beginnings in the stables of a 19th-century English country house, he finds himself subject to the whims of a string of different masters. Some of them are kind, others cruel, resulting in a often hankie-wringing tale.

What our educators say

"The art of discussion has improved and the breadth of language used has been enhanced by the variety of films watched, all of which we order free from the Into Film website."
