Synopsis

Lance, a bad comedian who makes his money as a cycle messenger, is hit by a truck. Assuming he's going to die instantly, an angel yanks his soul out his body, but there's a mistake: Lance's soul isn't due in heaven for another 40 years. So he's put into the body of the 15th richest man in America, the grumpy old Mr. Wellington, a white man. Lance/Wellington falls for a pretty nurse but the rich man's adulterous wife and treacherous aide are trying to kill him off for his money.
