A boy called Ben Crandall (Ethan Hawke) with his other two friends Wolfgang Muller (River Phoenix) and Darren Woods (Jason Presson) made a spacecraft. One day they flew and everyone were amazed. Something gone wrong and the spacecraft splashed in the water… I liked the way that the author used his imagination to create the film (explorers). In my opinion I didn’t like the way the author edited the movie. My favourite part was when Ben and his friends spent some of their time with the two (2) aliens. The interesting part was when Darren, Ben and Wolfgang worked collaboratively to make the spacecraft. My favourite actors-characters were Darren because he was so funny and Wolfgang because he and his family were weird. In my opinion the setting was weird but interesting. I would recommend who likes space and electronics to watch this film. Who I would not recommend is people that don’t prefers adventure. I think children in the age of 9+ would like this move. I would rate this movie 3/5.
