I feel like this film expects you to know about the events in it before watching, but as a British 16 year old who doesn't know much about American history, I was quite confused during the film. The start of the film was very slow and should have gotten to the part where the journalists were searching through the documents sooner, as that's when I actually became interested. I also think more time could have been spent on the court case following publication of the papers. Meryl Streep is Meryl Streep in this film, what more could you ask? I really enjoyed Meryl's character's relationship with Tom Hanks' character. Overall I think this story could be a lot more exciting with more events happening sooner and having it told in a more accessible way for those who aren't familiar with the history.
