With the summer holidays close at hand, more films for young people are popping up at cinemas around the country. This week we put a focus on a kid-friendly animation from Australia containing tons of animals, both ferocious and sweet, whilst also updating you on two new films lists that have been recently updated as well as a brand new film guide to peruse.

Safety is of course at the forefront of everyone's mind right now so make sure to check out the specific guidelines for your local cinema before visiting. Meanwhile, many cinemas have used lockdown as an opportunity to improve and renovate their venues so that we can all enjoy the best possible cinema experience.

Daisy Quokka: World's Scariest Animal

Known for their cute smiles, quokkas are one of the world's most adorable animals so you would not expect them to be winning any Scariest Animal Competitions. However, in this Australian animation we are introduced to Daisy, a tiny quokka with that exact goal - to be the world's scariest animal. Full of optimism, Daisy believes she can defy all the odds and fulfill her dream if she just gives it her all but she finds herself mocked by other animals. Enlisting the help of the reluctant former-champion, crocodile Frankie Scales, Daisy faces an almost impossible feat, with tough obstacles and competitors every step of the way. This fun adventure is all about believing in oneself, being kind to others and the rewarding experience of taking part in healthy competition.
