Leading this week's new releases is Aardman's stop-motion animation Early Man, a film about a brave young caveman named Dug and his trusty sidekick Hognob. Together, the pair must unite their tribe against a mighty enemy: the Bronze Age city, led by the wicked Lord Nooth.

Also released in cinemas this week

Alexander Payne's satirical dark comedy Downsizing sees a married couple agree to undergo a newly-invented procedure which will shrink them to a height of five inches, allegedly affording them a better quality of life in the process; and Maze Runner: The Death Cure is the third and final chapter of the teen franchise, adapted from the popular young adult novels, where Thomas and friends prepare for a showdown against WCKD.

New to order on DVD

Victoria and Abdul

Historical drama set in 1887, the year of the Golden Jubilee, about the friendship struck up between Queen Victoria and a young Indian clerk which threatens to cause unrest in the kingdom as she begins to see a changing world through new eyes.

Also new to order this week

A tiger-striped penguin and his three friends - a goldfish, tarsier and gorilla - attempt to maintain order in The Jungle Bunch; a tennis rivalry for the ages is played out in sporting biopic Borg Vs McEnroe; emotionally raw British drama Daphne follows the life of a young woman lacking direction; while Taylor Sheridan's directorial debut Wind River sees an FBI agent investigating a murder in a tense Indian Reservation-set thriller.
