It is our pleasure to announce that an exclusive Pupil Premiere of Disney's hugely anticipated Frozen 2 will close this year's Into Film Festival at Vue London West End on 22 November.
"We are thrilled that Frozen 2 will be the closing film of this years Into Film festival" said Charlotte Tudor, Vice President of Studios Marketing UK/EMEA for Disney and Animation. "Over the years we've built a special relationship with Into Film, so we are delighted to continue this by screening one of the world's most anticipated movies for this wonderful audience. Supporting Into Film is so important to us at Disney and we hope this pupil premiere of Frozen 2 will continue to encourage school children's love of cinema."
Six years after the record-breaking release of Frozen in 2013, Frozen 2 asks the question of why exactly Elsa was born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom, so together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. From the Academy Award®-winning team directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, Producer Peter Del Vecho and songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez and featuring the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, Walt Disney Animation Studios' Frozen 2 opens in UK Cinemas on 22 November 2019.
The Into Film Festival opens across the UK on 6 November with 40 simultaneous pupil premieres of climate change documentary 2040, cited as the first film to offer a positive solution to youth ‘eco-anxiety'. The Festival programme includes film previews, filmmaker guests, industry events, the best films of the past 12 months and more for 5-19 year olds.
