French drama 'Jeune Femme' leads this week's new releases

Set in Paris, Jeune Femme is a comedic French drama depicting one woman's struggle to find direction in her life. 31 year-old Paula returns to the city after a lengthy absence, finding herself suddenly homeless, jobless and all alone. Despite her self-destructive tendencies, she resolves to confront these issues head on with typical gusto, with only a fluffy white cat for company.

Ian McEwan's 1962 set novel On Chesil Beach is transported to the big screen in this drama which explores the romantic lives of two newlyweds; Documentary Filmworker is the story of Leon Vitali, an actor who became Stanley Kubrick's right-hand man after collaborating on a film together.

This biopic of P.T. Barnum stars Hugh Jackman as The Greatest Showman, a visionary entrepreneur who created a magnificent circus in the 19th century, leading to the birth of modern show business. His bold project required a diverse, eclectic cast of performers who were unafraid to stand out and refused to be like everybody else, in this lavish original musical which celebrates the idea of embracing who you are.
