Into Film Clubs
Find out everything you need to know about starting an Into Film Club.
Simon Pile, Assistant Headteacher at Anson Primary School in London, has won our Into Film Teacher of the Year award at the 2016 Into Film Awards, in association with Guardian Teacher Network.
This is Simon's second Into Film Award, after his club was awarded Into Film Club of the Year in 2015. Revealing how his club has developed since then, Simon had this to say:
The pupils are growing into mature movie watchers, filmmakers and critics. It's all based on motivating the staff along with me and helping them to embed the shared philosophy of the ways in which film can inspire and motivate learners.
What began with 16 children watching Indiana Jones has transformed how our school uses film in the classroom.
